Please tell us about what do you do and how long you have been doing it.
I work on the production line as an engine assembler. I have been in my current role for about five years, and was just recently promoted.
How did you get into your career in manufacturing?
I have always had an interest in working on mechanical components and wanted a career where I could continue with that interest.
How would you describe a typical day at work?
It’s always busy on the production line! There is always a steady flow of work, so planning and logistics are top priority on the production line. Recently, I was promoted to a new position where I am responsible for training new employees for half of my line.
What do you love most about what you do for your job?
I enjoy helping train and teach new employees as they start out in their roles at the factory. There is always room to grow and improve in manufacturing roles, and I enjoy being able to learn and grow my skillsets daily.
